The need

The main activity of the ILO is the creation of international labor standards (conventions and recommendations), ratified by more than 187 ILO member countries. The ILO then supervises implementation across the 187 member states.
A very old website was used as operational support for ratification and supervisory mechanisms of the ILO's 187 member countries.
The website was powered by 3 different databases and was no longer able to meet the new goal of using it as much as possible for the digitalization of supervisory mechanisms.

Job description

  • Goals of the work were: consolidate the 3 Databases in one, and provide to users (the ILO's 187 member countries) of a better, and more effective, website as a knowledge and operational tool.
  • The documentation provided was used by the ILO to write the tender for the implementation.
